Mike Joyce - The Washington Post - 5/17/96
"I Won't Worry", ex-Nighthawk guitarist Danny Morris's solo debut, is another kind of album
altogether. It's a summing up of the diverse styles that have influenced Morris-not just blues but everything
from Little Richard and Chuck Berry cuts to bizarre West coast guitar novelties and, yes, even the music
of Henry Mancini.
He's represented by a couple of his lesser-known pieces; the weird and entertaining
"Experiment in Terror" and "Bonzai Pipeline." While this trio album will appeal mostly to guitar fans, it's
hard to imagine anyone not being impressed by Morris's versatility and imagination.
